Gold Coast greengrocers, Earthmarkets has been recognised for their outstanding commitment to mushroom retailing, winning an Australian Mushroom Growers 2011 Retailing Award of Excellence.
The award, one of three in each state, was evaluated on the stores mushroom quality, range, display and knowledge.
Measured through an independent “mystery shopping program” over a twelve month period the award was strongly contested by retailers ranging in size from small boutique operations through to large fruit and vegetable retailers.
Earthmarkets was congratulated by AMGA General Manager, Greg Seymour for their achievement.

Mr Seymour said consumers not only love the great taste but are becoming more aware of the range of health benefits offered by mushrooms.
